This project was one that I taught to two classes of kindergarteners. We read the Very Hungry Caterpillar and they worked on counting and color recognition.
The following is a lesson I taught to two sections of first graders. We discussed the seasons with an emphasis on Fall. The students practiced tracing, cutting, and gluing.
This was a game-based lesson where the student created their own monsters by rolling a dice and seeing how many eyes, legs, and arms their monster would have. The students also used a chart to refer to for their monsters' different features. This help the students to develop a variety of different monsters.
Third grade lesson about the planets: The students took coffee filters and marker to get colors similar to some of the planets in our solar system. Then the students used water to bleed the colors together.
Fifth grade poster project: this lesson was focused on the different types of balance, shapes and lines.
